Dr. Jeanette Cole was born and raised on Long Island, New York, as one of seven children, where she naturally became the caretaker of the family’s pets. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida. 

Dr. Cole focuses her career on companion animal medicine and provides comprehensive, compassionate care to dogs, cats, and other furry family members. She has professional interests in dermatology, internal medicine, behavior medicine, and surgery, and enjoys the variety and problem-solving that veterinary medicine offers. 

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Cole enjoys yoga, SCUBA diving, fishing in Sarasota Bay, spending time with her family, playing board games, reading, and being active in her local church community.

Dr. Christina Whitcomb grew up outside of Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from The Ohio State University. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the same institution, graduating at the top of her class.  

During veterinary school, Dr. Whitcomb spent her summers working at Gulf Gate Animal Hospital and always knew she wanted to return to Sarasota after graduation. She enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, including caring for pocket pets. Her professional interests include dentistry, internal medicine, nutrition, and dermatology.  

Dr. Whitcomb shares her home with her rescue dogs and cats, who keep life entertaining. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys cooking, staying active, and cheering on the Buckeyes and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
